Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed condolences to the families of the victims of Taraz terrorist attack, Tengrinews.kz reports.
“We express deep and sincere condolences to the families of the officers of law-enforcement authorities, who were killed during performance of their duties in Taraz,” official representative of Foreign Ministry Altau Abibullayev said at the briefing on November 14.
According to him, Foreign Ministry strongly condemns such crimes and opposes any forms of terrorism and extremism. “We think that the countries of the region and international community have to enhance joint measures to counter any manifestations of such crimes,” Abibullayev said.
He noted that issues related of countering international terrorism are always in a prioritry for Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry. Kazakhstan diplomats are currently checking the information on the measures taken by Kyrgyzstan to enhance control at the border corssing points with Kazakhstan.
