Kazakhstan Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Kazykhanov will make an official visit to China on September 7-9, Tengrinews.kz reports citing official representative of Kazakhstan Foreign Affairs Ministry Askar Abdrakhmanov. This will be Kazykhanov's first visit to China in his office of Foreign Minister. He is planning a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi, higher management of China and other activities. The visit of Kazakhstan delegation will be timed to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations of the two countries. “It is expected that the meetings will cover current issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international issues. Certain measures to further promote of Kazakh-Chinese relations, mutually-beneficial strategical partnership will be discussed,” Abdrakhmanov said at the briefing on September 5.
