In addition, several important documents were signed:

  • Memorandum of Understanding on technical cooperation between Deutsche Bundesbank and the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
  • Letter of Intent to establish a Kazakhstan-Germany Institute of Science and Technology at the East Kazakhstan
  • Technical University named after Serikbaev, signed by Kazakhstan's Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the German Federal Foreign Office.
  • Letter of Intent to create a Kazakh-German School, signed by Kazakhstan's Ministry of Education, the Samruk-Kazyna Foundation, the Kazakhstan German Society "Revival", and the German Federal Foreign Office.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz is currently on an official visit to Kazakhstan.
