Kazakhstan and Brazil have agreed to mutually cancel visas, Tengrinews reports citing the press-service of the Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry. “Kazakhstan Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrissov and his Brazilian counterpart Luiz Figueiredo signed the agreement mutually canceling visas for the citizens of the two countries. The citizens will be able to travel to Kazakhstan and Brazil without visas upon completion of the internal procedures and when the agreement comes in effect,” the message states. The ministers expressed confidence that Kazakhstan and Brazilian citizens will be actively using this opportunity, and expanding business, academic and cultural contacts. The visa cancellation is especially timely because Basil is hosing the FIFA World Cup in 2014. Opening of the Kazakhstan Embassy in Brazil completed Idsrissov’s October visit.
