Kazakh President Tokayev to pay state visit to Tajikistan

Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will make a state visit to Tajikistan.

The visit is scheduled for August 22-23. During the visit, high-level talks will be held both in a narrow format and with government delegations from both countries.

"President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will discuss the current state and future prospects for strengthening the Kazakh-Tajik strategic partnership," the statement said.

Several bilateral agreements are expected to be signed, focusing on enhancing cooperation in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Indonesian President and Pakistan Prime Minister.
