Karim Massimov has thanked Kazakhstan President and Ministers, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan government’s press-service. Speaking at the final government meeting, Karim Massimov expressed gratitude to the President: “I would like to thank our President for the high confidence he had in me all these years,” the message states. Karim Massimov also thanked members of his government for their work: “We did out best to live up to the confidence of the President. I would like to thank all the government members for all the years of our joint work. It has been an important and efficient time. We all should stay part of our President’s team and this is what's important,” the press-service cites Massimov. Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Karim Massimov has filed a resignation. President Nursultan Nazarbayev accepted his resignation temporarily leaving the Kazakhstan Government without a head. According to Kazakhstan’s Constitution, resignation of Prime-Minister means resignation of the Government. According to President’s decree, the government will perform its functions until appointment of new Prime-Minister and Ministers. Kazakhstan President Nazarbayev has already appointed MP Karim Massimov head of the Presidential Administration .
