Head of Kazakhstan President’s Administration Karim Massimov met with President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on October 13 in Shymkent, the press-service of South-Kazakhstan oblast’s Akim (Governor) writes. They exchanged opinions on perspective directions for development of trade and economic and investment cooperation. They also confirmed the strive of both countries for further enhancement of relations between Kazakhstan and the UAE. According to the press-service, Arab Sheikh’s fund has built an up-to-date perinatal center for 120 patients in Shymkent. It is also constructing a mosque with capacity of up to 3 thousand people in Shymkent. Besides, Al Hilal Bank opened its representative office there.
