Italian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Alberto Pieri has completed his mission in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews informs citing the presidential press service.
On this occasion, Kazakhstan's Secretary of State Adilbek Dzhaksybekov met with Italian Ambassador to Kazakhstan. He congratulated Alberto Pieri on the successful completion of his diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan and thanked him for his contribution into the strengthening of bilateral political, economic and cultural relationships.
During the meeting they discussed the current state and prospects of Kazakh-Italian bilateral cooperation as well as the international exhibitions EXPO-2015 in Milan and EXPO-2017 in Astana.
Italy ranks third among Kazakhstan's foreign trade partners and first among its European trade partners. In 2013, the trade turnover between the two countries exceeded $16.2 billion.
