Simplification of visa procedures for Kazakhstan citizens will be discussed in Athens. Secretary of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry Rapil Zhoshybayev is on an official visit to Greece on October 15-16, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the official representative of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry Altai Abibullayev. The visit includes a presentation of Kazakhstan’s bid to host EXPO-2017. Besides, Secretary Zhoshybayev will pass an address of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the President of Greece Karolos Papoulias. “The parties are also going to sign an inter-government agreement cancelling visa requirement for holders of diplomatic passports. Greek Minister of Touristic Development (Olga Kefalogianni) is also going to discuss simplified visa procedures for Kazakhstan tourists,” Abibullayev said. By Renat Tashkinbayev
