An official visit of French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius to Kazakhstan is scheduled for March 1-2, 2013, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the official representative of Kazakhstan President’s Central Communications Service Altai Abibullayev.
“Laurent Fabius is expected to meet with President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Prime-Minister Serik Akhmetov and Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrissov,” Altai Abibullayev said.
The French Foreign Minister is also expected to visited Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering plant.
“France is one of the important strategic and political-economic partners of Kazakhstan in Europe. The commodities turnover between our countries made over $6.2 billion in 2012,” Altai Abibullayev said.
