Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has changed the color of his motorcade to honor the traditions of the Turkmen people.
In a video shared by Kazakh journalist Adil Baltabayev, Tokayev can be seen traveling in a white motorcade during his official visit to Ashgabat, a departure from the usual black vehicles. White holds special significance in Turkmen culture, symbolizing purity and prosperity, making this gesture particularly meaningful.
"In two years of covering the President’s travels, this is the first time I’ve seen something like this," Baltabayev remarked.
The video also shows the motorcade being accompanied by Turkmenistan’s National Leader, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Tokayev’s visit to Turkmenistan includes key discussions with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the inauguration of a monument to Abai in Ashgabat, and participation in the International Forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations – the Foundation of Peace and Development.”
