Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Nikolay Bordyuzha told Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev about the process of preparation for The informal meeting of heads of the CSTO member-states, the President's official website writes. The summit is scheduled for August 12 in Astana. “The meeting was very constructive, as usual. All the meetings with Kazakhstan President are creative, with suggestions, discussion of the most current issues. The main task for me was to tell the President about the process of preparation for the informal summit of heads of the CSTO member-countries that will be held in Astana on August 12 and about the problems faced by the Organization, about global and regional challenges and threats, which are of concern for all the countries,” CSTO Secretary General told the journalists after the meeting. According to Bordyuzha, members of Organization are planning to evaluate security problems and define certain measures. “The main problem for today is the problem of Afghanistan. This is not only illegal drug-trafficking, but also militants training camps, activation of extremist groups and different organized crime groups,” Bordyuzha noted. He pointed out that the meetings held in Kazakhstan always finish with concrete and interesting solutions.
