Ministers of Foreign Affairs of CSTO member-states have discussed enhancement of the border between Tajikistan and Afghanistan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Foreign Minister as saying at the meeting of CSTO Foreign Ministers Council. "The threats coming from Afghanistan have been on the agenda today, and this is first of all related to enhancement of the border between Tajikistan and Afghanistan. Since Tajikistan is a quite an active member of the Organization, the Council discussed interaction tn enhancement of its border with Afghanistan. We will continue working on this issue during our chairmanship. Unfortunately, Afghanistan remains a source of serious threats for Central Asia, that's why we will only act collectively and promote stabilization of the situation in this long-suffering country," Kazakhstan Foreign Minister said after the meeting.
