Chairman of KazMunaiGas Exploration&Production (KMG EP) Lyazzat Kiinov was dismissed, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the company’s press-service. A special meeting of the shareholders and the board was held on July 9. “Daniyar Berlibayeva, first deputy chairman on corporate development of KazMunaiGas National Company was appointed new board member of KMG EP,” the message states. Berlibayev was elected chairman of the board of KMG EP at the next meeting on July 10. “KMG EP board approved the updated budget for 2013. According to the budget, the capital expenditures in 2013 are planned in the amount of 168 billion tenge ($1.1 billion), which is 17 billion tenge ($113 million ) less than in the budget approved in December 2012,” the press-service writes. On July 3 Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev and the board of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund dismissed Lyazzat Kiinov from his position of the chairman of KazMunaiGas National Company . Former Oil and Gas Minister Sauat Mynbayev was appointed new chairman of the company.
