Bolat Akchulakov appointed Kazakhstan's Oil and Gas Vice-Minister

Former chairman of KazMunaiGas National Oil Company Bolat Akchulakov became Kazakhstan’s Vice-Minister of Oil and Gas, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Ministry’s press-service. Bolat Akchulakov was appointed Vice-Minister of Oil and Gas by a governmental decree,” the message states. Lyazzat Kiinov, previous Oil and Gas Vice-Minister was earlier appointed chairman and member of the Board of KazMunaiGas National Oil Company. Akchulakov, 40, served as chairman of KazMunaiGas from October 5 to December 21, 2011. Earlier he worked as the Managing Director of KazMunaiGas, member of the board of Samruk-Kazyna, where he was responsible for electric power and oil&gas; assets, Executive Director of KazMunaiGas and Vice-Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.
