Belarus officially joins the Shanghai Cooperation Organization

Astana, Tengrinews.kz - The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, chaired by Kazakhstan, began with the official induction of the Republic of Belarus as a full member.

Astana, Tengrinews.kz - The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, chaired by Kazakhstan, began with the official induction of the Republic of Belarus as a full member.

The SCO summit in Astana started with the signing of documents on Belarus admission to the organization.

Kazakhstan has been leading the SCO since July 2023, and the chairmanship will be transferred to China following the Astana summit.
