Baurzhan Abdishev appointed Vice-Minister of Environmental Protection

Baurzhan Abdishev ha been appointed Vice-Minister of Environmental Protection, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Ministry’s press-service. “According to the decree of Kazakhstan Government dated September 22, 2012, and signed by Prime-Minister Karim Massimov, Baurzhan Abdishev shall be appointed Vice-Minister of Environmental Protection in relation of Mirlan Mukhambetov’s transfer to another job,” the press-service writes. Baurzhan Abdishev was born in Karaganda oblast in 1968. He served as Karaganda Akim (Mayor) since January 2010. Abdishev graduated from Karaganda Polytechnic Institute with a major in Engineering, Buketov Karaganda State University with a major in Economics major and Russian Customs Academy. He started working in 1993. He used to work in Kazakhstan’s customs authorities. Starting from 2003 he worked as deputy chairman of Kazakhstan Customs Control Agency and Customs Control Commission of Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance. Starting from 2008 he worked as Director of department of monitoring of social and economic programs and deputy chairman of the central office of the innovations commission of Nur Otan party.
