Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Austria Kairat Sarybai has been concurrently accredited as Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Slovenia, Tengrinews reports citing the presidential press service.
He was appointed by a presidential decree.
Kairat Sarybai is also an Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Austria and Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan in international organizations in Vienna. He retained all these positions and will be combining them with the new duties.
Kairat Sarybai graduated from Leningrad State University with a major in Philology and Eastern Studies. He worked as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1998-1999, Kazakhstan Ambassador in Turkey in 1999-2003, Kazakhstan Ambassador in Germany in 2003-2007 and Assistant to the President of Kazakhstan for Foreign Relations in 2008-2010.
Kairat Sarybai serves as Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Austria since February 2014
