Tengrinews.kz — President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Akorda reports.
During the discussion, the two leaders reviewed preparations for Tokayev’s upcoming state visit to the Russian Federation.
Both presidents emphasized the special importance of the upcoming talks in Moscow for strengthening strategic partnership and allied relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.
Some aspects of the current global situation were also discussed.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that preparations for Tokayev’s official visit to Russia are actively underway.
