Tengrinews.kz — President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Akorda reports.

During the discussion, the two leaders reviewed the current state and future prospects of Kazakh-Belarusian relations, noting the high level of political dialogue and the steady development of cooperation in trade, economy, and humanitarian affairs.

The presidents also exchanged views on key international issues.

Tokayev emphasized the significance of the Eurasian Security Conference currently taking place in Minsk.

“The heads of state agreed to continue close cooperation within the framework of upcoming joint events,” — Akorda’s statement reads.

Earlier, in June 2025, Tokayev visited Belarus, where he took part in the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting and the Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk. There, the leaders of EAEU member states — including Lukashenko, Putin, Pashinyan, and Zhaparov — discussed the future of regional economic integration.
