Tokayev commented on the prospects for cooperation with Germany

Welcoming Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the leaders of Central Asian countries, and German business leaders, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that the second meeting in the format "Central Asia + Germany" opened a new stage in the development of multifaceted partnership.

The President emphasized that the substantive exchange of views confirmed the mutual interest of leaders in further deepening cooperation.

"I express special gratitude to the Eastern Committee of the German Economy for connecting Germany with the countries of the region. Germany is known for its innovations and high-quality products, while Central Asia offers significant partnership opportunities. We are open to collaboration in areas such as raw material extraction, energy, transportation, finance, agriculture, and information technology," noted the President of Kazakhstan.

The President noted that the participants of the meeting had a great opportunity to discuss ways to further strengthen cooperation in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed confidence that the exchange of ideas and experiences would contribute to the comprehensive progress of the countries in the region.

In conclusion, the Head of State thanked the participants for their open and substantive dialogue.

"Our thorough discussions have once again confirmed the vast potential for economic cooperation between Central Asia and Germany in various fields. We explored a wide range of opportunities - from infrastructure and energy to technology and innovation - that could provide a new impetus for interregional economic cooperation," said the President of Kazakhstan.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev supported the proposal to create an economic council that could play a more active role in attracting German investments and serve as a stable institutional base for the interaction between Central Asian countries and Germany.

During the event, speeches were made by the German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Deputy Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Christian Bruch; representative of the Managing Partners of KNAUF Gruppe Alexander Knauf; CEO of Ernst Klett AG Philipp Hausmann; spokesperson of the Central Asia working group of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Niko Warbanoff; Siemens Healthineers AG CEO Bernd Montag and CLAAS Group CEO Jan-Hendrik Mohr.
