Tengrinews.kz — Russian Su-35 fighter jets accompanied the plane of Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev from the moment it crossed the state border until it landed at Moscow Airport, according to the Akorda press service.
The President’s office shared photographs and videos of the military jets flying alongside the aircraft on its Telegram channel. The footage appears to have been filmed from the window of the presidential plane.
The video shows several fighter jets accompanying the aircraft during the flight.
President Tokayev is in Russia for an official visit on November 11-12, where he is set to hold talks with President Vladimir Putin. Additionally, he will participate in a video conference at the plenary session of the 21st Forum for Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, which is taking place in Uralsk.
During the visit, several important bilateral agreements are expected to be signed.
