Tengrinews.kz – The White House may soon unveil a major peace framework with Russia aimed at halting hostilities in Ukraine, according to foreign media reports citing Politico.
Politico, referencing its own sources, claims that the outline of the agreement could be finalized by all parties by the end of this month, and potentially “as early as this week.”
Some U.S. outlets earlier wrote that “Washington has been secretly developing a new plan to end the war in Ukraine.”
Axios reported that the proposed American plan consists of 28 points and is “inspired by President Trump’s successful efforts to reach an agreement on Gaza.”
According to Axios, the plan’s provisions fall into four broad categories:
- peace in Ukraine,
- security guarantees,
- European security,
- and the future of U.S. relations with Russia and Ukraine.
Neither Washington nor Moscow has officially commented on the reported draft agreement.
