130 industrial projects to be launched in Kazakhstan in 2013

130 industrial projects have been scheduled for implementation in Kazakhstan in 2013, Tengrinews.kz reports from the meeting dedicated to summarizing results of 2012 and specifying the course of implementation of the Strategy-2050. “Around 130 projects are planned to be launched this year, including: a new ferroalloy plant in Aktobe, production of baked anodes in Pavlodar, production of hoop in Kostanay, reconstruction of the energy block No.6 of Aksu regional power station, asphalt plant in Aktau, expansion of KhimFarma production capacity in Shymkent, production of photoelectric plates in Ust-Kamenogorsk and other projects,” Serik Akhmetov said. The Prime-Minister also told the President that such major projects as construction of mineral fertilizers plant in Zhambyl oblast and full-cycle car factory in Ust-Kamenogorsk, as well as expansion and reconstruction of Ekibastuz regional power station No.2 will be launched in Kazakhstan this year.
