White swan with broken wing rescued in Zhetysu region

Tengrinews.kz – Emergency Ministry rescuers came to the aid of an injured white swan on a lake in the Alakol district of the Zhetysu region.

The incident occurred near the village of Akshi, where officers were carrying out a preventive campaign. In the reeds, they noticed a weakened bird that could not take off. As they came closer, the rescuers realized the swan was wounded and decided to evacuate it.

The bird was carefully taken out of the thickets, warmed and fed, after which it was handed over to veterinarians in the town of Usharal. During the examination, specialists diagnosed the swan with a fracture of its left wing.

The bird is now under veterinary supervision. Rescuers note that even in difficult conditions it is important not to remain indifferent — help was provided in time, giving the swan a chance to recover.
