Kazakhstan climber has successfully conquered Orizaba, the tallest volcano of North America, Tengrinews.kz reports. Kazakhstan’s Andrey Gundarev (Almazov) ascended the peak as part of a Kazakhstan-Russian expedition on February 17. 5,700-meters Orizaba volcano is situated in Mexico next to Puebla de Saragosa town. The ascent to the volcano was made as part of Kazakhstan’s citizen at the top of seven tallest volcanoes of seven continents project. Gundarev was the first citizen of Kazakhstan to climb Ojos Del Salado (6,893 meters), the tallest volcano of the world, situated in Latin America as part of the same program in February 2012. The Kazakhstan’s climber has already conquered four volcanoes out of seven. He the ascended Elbrus in Europe, Kilimanjaro in Africa, Ojos del Salado in Latin America and Orizaba in North America.
