Tengrinews.kz – A video of a Kazakh woman raising the national flag in an unconventional and breathtaking way has gone viral on TikTok, gaining over 700,000 views and sparking admiration across social media.
In the footage, the woman - dressed in a traditional Kazakh costume - is seen soaring above the Kapchagay Reservoir on a flyboard while proudly holding the flag of Kazakhstan. Performing a series of striking aerial maneuvers, she combines national pride with extreme sports in a visually stunning tribute.
“I was born and live in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is my homeland. My native city is Kapchagay (now Konaev). May there be peace on Earth! Alga, Qazaqstan,” she wrote in the video caption.
The video, set to the iconic 'Rukh' composition by the Presidential Orchestra, was filmed in September 2024 and continues to gain traction for its powerful patriotic message and artistic execution.

Flyboarding is an extreme water sport that uses a device connected to a jet ski to shoot powerful jets of water through boots, allowing the rider to hover up to 15 meters above the surface. Invented by French athlete Franky Zapata in 2011, the sport has since gained global popularity, including in Kazakhstan.
