A newly wed woman from Kazakhstan won one million dirham ($ 272 thousand) in a lottery held by Dubai Bank in the United Arab Emirates, Trade Arabia reports. Botagoz Alzhanova, 36, who has been living in the UAE for the past seven years, was informed of her winning in a bank’s lottery just a week after her wedding day. Botagoz wants to spend her prize on their honeymoon and also plans to donate part of the money to support Kazakhstani children with chronic diseases. “This is a very special time in my life. First I got married and a few days later I found out that I had won a million dirhams. And I have always wanted to visit Australia and now I can start planning my dream holiday with my husband,” Botagoz said. Botagoze works in one of the companies in Sharjah. Some years ago here employers opened a corporate account in Dubai Bank and this enabled her to became the winner of this lottery.
