Tengrinews.kz – Men who organized a kokpar game on the Almaty-Khorgos highway in the Almaty region have been held accountable, regional police reported.
During routine social media monitoring, authorities identified a group of horseback riders flagrantly violating traffic regulations on roads in Yenbekshikazakh District.

"The violators were identified by district police officers and brought to the police station. The men were held administratively liable for violating traffic rules for pedestrians and other road users," the police stated.
The organizer of the kokpar game was sentenced to seven days of administrative arrest by the Yenbekshikazakh District Court, while four participants received five-day sentences. Other individuals involved were fined.
