Tengrinews.kz - Elon Musk has become the first person in history to amass a fortune exceeding $400 billion, according to Bloomberg.

Tengrinews.kz - Elon Musk has become the first person in history to amass a fortune exceeding $400 billion, according to Bloomberg.

Bloomberg News estimates Musk's net worth has now surpassed the $400 billion mark. While the value of shares in his electric vehicle company, Tesla, and his robotics group have surged in recent months, it was his private stake in SpaceX, the rocket company he co-founded, that propelled his wealth past this latest milestone.

On Wednesday, Tesla's stock reached a new all-time high, pushing Musk’s net worth to approximately $440 billion, Bloomberg reported.

Musk's position as the world's richest person has fluctuated in recent years due to the volatility of Tesla's stock price. However, since May, he has consistently held the top spot.

According to Forbes’ Billionaires Index, Musk's wealth is estimated at around $369 billion. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos ranks second, followed by Oracle founder Larry Ellison in third place.
