Kazakhstan’s 22-year-old figure skater and Sochi Olympics bronze prizewinner Denis ten has told about his new hobby, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.
His new hobby is photography. He said he had long been interested in it.
He created a separate Instagram page, where he posts the photos he makes. He did it because he wanted to share “what is inside his brainpan”.

“I love photography and other forms of art. As a young man, I thought of every detail expressed by an artist as of having infinite depth, a whole history behind it that the artist wanted to explore. I fell for philosophy back then, because as it seems even here there is a close connection. But having understood once that everything is just about thought – be it philosophy, art or something else - I started thinking that shapes and colors in art are only about shapes and colors - nothing more. Although it is possible that this vision is false," Ten wrote.

According to him, he wants to “share what is inside of his brainpan” through his separate page – ©d10world, whereas he uses his actual Instagram account “to focus on the surface (of his brainpan)”. “I have always tried to convey the depth of thought in my (skating) programs, and other things that I worked on. And now I became engaged in photography,” he said.

He posted his first photo two weeks ago. Over thousand of people have begun following his page since then.
