The annual rating of 300 richest people in Switzerland was published this Friday. Anisimov, residing in Zurich, earned his $3.16 billion in metallurgy and real estate. He was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 1951 and graduated from Alma-Ata Institute of National Economy in 1977. In 5 years Anisimov became the head of the Kalinin nuclear power plant. He is one of the investors of MetalloInvest, a Russian mining and metallurgy company founded 1999. According to Forbes Anisimov is ranked 38th in Forbes Russian Billionaire List. This year 12 other billionaires from the post-Soviet countries made it into the Swiss list, according to Nasha Gazeta, a Swiss newspaper in Russian. Ukrainian-born Viktor Vekselberg, the owner and president of Renova Group, and Gennady Timchenko, the owner of Volga Group investment company have also made the 300PlusRichies list. The youngest daughter of the President of Uzbekistan Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva and her husband Timur Tillyaev are the newcomers with an estimated fortune of 100-200 million franks ($110-221 million). Earlier, the former Akim (Mayor) of Almaty Viktor Khrapunov was among the richest citizens of Switzerland. However, this year the former Akim is not in the list.
