Tengrinews.kz - In a heartwarming incident, police officers in Astana blocked a road to save a family of ducks. Auto patrol noticed the ducks and stopped traffic to ensure their safety.

A video captured the moment when two patrol officers placed the mother duck and her ducklings into their patrol car. They then transported the ducklings to the Sarbulak water channel and released them.

The officers involved in the rescue were Abzal Oken and Aibek Baybatyrov. During the rescue, a passerby also joined in, helping to catch the scattered ducklings.

The police have urged drivers to be cautious on the roads. They provided advice on what to do in similar situations.

"Animals and birds may find themselves on the road for various reasons. In such cases, reduce your speed and avoid sudden maneuvers. Ensure that stopping is safe for you and other road users, then call 102," the post advised.
