350 public buses are going to be equipped with wheelchair lifts in Astana, Tengrinews reports citing the Akim (Mayor) of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov. 350 municipal buses running on gas will be adapted to transport people with special needs. "All the 350 buses must be equipped with automatic lifts to enable wheelchair users enter the buss. The number of such buses will be brought to 1100-1200 by 2017.
