Information on Restrictions Regarding the Use of Materials

The text, graphics, images, video, audio, metadata, design, organization, compilation, look and feel, advertising and all other protectable intellectual property (the "Content") available through the Tengrinews English website http://en.tengrinews.kz (the “Website”) are the property of the website's owner or the property of the Website's advertisers and licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

All news reports, analytical articles, expert opinions, photographs, illustrations, videos, audio recordings, and other materials published by the Tengrinews.kz online publication (hereinafter referred to as the "Site") are collectively referred to as "materials" for the purposes of this notice.

Copyright on all materials, unless otherwise specified, belongs to the owner of the Site. The Site administration acts as the official representative of the Site owner regarding the placement of materials and other matters related to the operation of the Site.

The Site administration reserves the right to modify these terms for the use of materials at any time without prior explanation.

Rules for the Use of Information Materials on the Site

All materials published on the Site may be used by you solely in accordance with these Rules.

The use of materials refers to reproduction, distribution, public display, broadcasting, cable transmission, communication to the public, translation, adaptation, and other methods of use as defined by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

All original textual materials from the Site may be used by mass media (hereinafter referred to as "Media"), websites, or any other resources on the Internet, as well as in printed publications, free of charge (for non-commercial purposes only) in an amount not exceeding one-third of the material, provided there is a mandatory hyperlink to the original material on the Site as the primary source, and provided the meaning is preserved. An active hyperlink to the Site must be placed in the first or second sentence of the republished material.

Media using only audio or video content (television and radio) are required to mention the name of the Site in the first or second sentence of the news story that references the Site.

Materials provided to the Site by news agencies, primary sources, and/or other partners are published based on specific agreements, and any use of these materials in any form by Media, websites, or other resources is prohibited without written permission from the original copyright holders. To use such materials, you must contact the respective copyright holder directly.

In the case of materials on the Site for which third parties hold copyright, permission to use these materials must be obtained directly from the copyright holder.

Materials marked as "Partner Material," "Sponsored Material," or "Material Provided by…" are likely paid for by the Site’s partners, who hold the copyright over them. Use of such materials is only allowed if you assume full responsibility for any infringement of the partner's copyrights or other rights, or if you obtain permission directly from the copyright holders.

If you receive written permission from the Site for the full reproduction of materials, you must ensure that the content is reproduced accurately. Any alteration or distortion of the original text (including modifications that change the meaning of the materials) is prohibited.

You bear responsibility for any distortion of the material's content resulting from inaccurate reproduction.

Rules for the Use of Photographs

"Photographs" refer to photographic works and/or images, captured and reproduced in both traditional and other media (electronic versions, prints, slides, negatives).

All rights to photographs marked with a copyright symbol ©, with an indicated source or copyright holder, are protected under the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international copyright law. The use of such photographs in any Media, websites, or other resources is strictly prohibited, both in original form and in fragments, even if the Site is cited as the source. To use such photographs, you must contact the respective source or copyright holder directly, except for photographs marked with ©Tengrinews.kz, ©Tengritravel.kz, ©Massaget.kz, ©Tengrisport.kz, ©Tengriauto.kz, or ©Vesti.kz, with or without an author's name. These photographs may only be used if there is a direct hyperlink to the relevant Site, with the copyright symbol and author's name preserved, and no alterations or distortions of the photograph are made.

All rights to photographs marked ©Depositphotos are owned by Depositphotos Inc. and are protected by international law. Their use by Media, websites, or other resources is prohibited without permission from Depositphotos Inc.

If a photograph is published on the Site without any signature, attribution, or identifying information, such photographs may not be used by any other Media, websites, or resources, even if the Site is credited as the source. The Site assumes no responsibility for violations of these terms.

Attention! Any use of materials that violates the terms and conditions specified in these Rules will be deemed illegal and may result in liability under the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
