Tengrinews.kz – Parts of Almaty will be left without cold water this week due to scheduled maintenance and construction works on the city’s water supply network, the utility company Almaty Su has announced.

Tengrinews.kz – Parts of Almaty will be left without cold water this week due to scheduled maintenance and construction works on the city’s water supply network, the utility company Almaty Su has announced.

On Wednesday, August 27, from 9:00 to 17:00, water supply will be cut off in parts of the Bostandyk district within the area bordered by Timiryazev Street, Satpayev Street, Auezov Street and Abay Avenue, including the Atakent Exhibition Center. Water pressure will also be reduced along Auezov Street.

On Thursday, August 28, from 9:00 to 20:00, water supply will be suspended in connection with the construction of a new filtration station. The shutdown will affect the neighborhoods of Akzhar (within the Aksay station zone), Tastybulak and Tauzhuly.

Earlier, on August 26, water supply was also suspended in parts of the Auezov, Bostandyk and Nauryzbai districts, covering several major streets and microdistricts, while some areas experienced reduced water pressure.
