"We overcame obstacles that nobody thought possible and it is now clear that we’ve achieved the most incredible political thing, look what happened, is this crazy? But it’s a political victory that our country has never seen before, nothing like this. I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president and your 45th president," Trump said.

He also promised to fight for America and its future.

"I will fight for you, for your family, and your future, every single day I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body, I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe, and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age of America, that’s what we have to have. This is a magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again," Trump emphasized.

As a reminder, the 60th U.S. presidential election has begun, with residents of Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, casting the first votes, as is tradition.

In this election, Americans will choose not only a new president but also a vice president, 468 members of Congress, governors in 11 states, and local representatives.

The Democratic Party is represented by current Vice President Kamala Harris, running for president, alongside her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. Their main opponents are the Republicans, led by former President Donald Trump and Ohio Senator James David Vance.
