Tokayev shown first cryptocurrency payment in Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz — Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was shown the first cryptocurrency payment in Kazakhstan, citing Akorda.

It was noted that the payment was made using the domestic CryptoPay system.

Today, the President also visited the International Artificial Intelligence Center, Alem.ai. The center provides opportunities for scientific research, educational programs, startup initiatives, and applied solutions in the field of artificial intelligence. The projects being implemented aim to introduce AI technologies into the public sector, business, and everyday life.

Additionally, the Head of State launched the Astana Smart City project. This is a key initiative aimed at creating next-generation intelligent urban infrastructure.
