Tokayev sets tasks for the new Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan

Tengrinews.kz — President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Abylkair Skakov, the newly appointed Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Kyrgyz Republiс.

During the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the importance of further strengthening the ties of friendship, good-neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance with brotherly Kyrgyzstan.

The President set a number of tasks for Abylkair Skakov to develop multifaceted Kazakh-Kyrgyz cooperation in the transport and transit, energy, water, and agricultural sectors, as well as in the field of digitalization.

Particular attention was paid to strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
