Astana

July 16: Partly cloudy skies, no precipitation expected. Southwest wind at 3–8 m/s overnight, increasing to 9–14 m/s during the day. Temperatures will range from 11–13°C at night to 27–29°C during the day.

July 17: Partly cloudy, dry. Winds shifting from southeast to northwest at 9–14 m/s. Nighttime temperatures between 16–18°C, with daytime highs of 30–32°C.

July 18: Partly cloudy with rain and thunderstorms during the day. Northwest wind at 9–14 m/s. Temperatures will hold steady at 16–18°C at night, rising to 30–32°C in the afternoon.

Almaty

July 16: Partly cloudy and dry. Southwest wind at 3–8 m/s. Temperatures will reach 21–23°C at night and climb to a sweltering 33–35°C during the day.

July 17: Partly cloudy, no rain expected. Southwest wind at 3–8 m/s, occasionally gusting to 13 m/s. Overnight lows at 21–23°C, with daytime heat pushing up to 35–37°C.

July 18: Again, no rain expected under partly cloudy skies. Southwest wind at 3–8 m/s. Temperatures will stay at 21–23°C at night, and soar to 36–38°C during the day.

Earlier, Kazhydromet reported that from July 15 to 17, much of Kazakhstan will see rain, thunderstorms, squalls, hail, and fog. Wind speeds are expected to increase, while temperatures in the south, southwest, and southeast may reach 44°C, and in the north and east up to 38°C.
