Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has congratulated Nursultan Nazarbayev, the First President of Kazakhstan, on his 85th birthday, the Akorda press service reported.
In his congratulatory message, Tokayev highlighted Nazarbayev’s historic role in shaping modern Kazakh statehood, emphasizing his significant contribution to the formation and development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The President also underscored the importance of Nazarbayev’s decision to relocate the national capital, which he said played a crucial part in boosting the country’s economic growth and enhancing its international standing.
Tokayev extended his well wishes to the First President, wishing him good health.
Nursultan Nazarbayev was born on July 6, a date that also marks Capital Day in Kazakhstan. This year, Astana celebrates its 27th anniversary.
