Tengrinews.kz – Messages are circulating on social networks and messaging apps about another drone crash in Kazakhstan, this time in the Atyrau region. Police commented on the information.

According to the message being circulated, a local resident reported a burning object resembling a drone to police on the morning of March 27. The object was allegedly found seven kilometers from Atyrau.

"It is also reported that an engine and damaged fragments, presumably made of composite or carbon fiber, were found at the scene," the message says.

The Atyrau Region Police Department confirmed to Tengrinews.kz that objects were indeed found but did not specify exactly what they were.

"The Atyrau Region Police Department, together with authorized services, is conducting verification activities regarding the discovery of objects resembling fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle. The object was found outside a populated area. All circumstances of the incident are being established," the department said.

It is worth noting that a few days earlier, photos and information spread in messaging apps claiming that a drone had crashed near a village in the West Kazakhstan region. The information was later confirmed by the regional police department.
