Party members gathered at the buildings of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana and the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Aktau, laying flowers.
"We received the tragic news of the death of citizens of our brotherly country Azerbaijan in a plane crash with deep sorrow. On behalf of the party and myself, I express my condolences to the families and friends of the victims, as well as to all the people of Azerbaijan. Kazakhs and Azerbaijanis are fraternal peoples who have always shared each other's joys and sorrows. This grief is our common one. I want to wish patience and strength to the relatives of the victims and the dead!" - said the chairman of the city branch of the party in Astana, Muhammad Bolysbek.
In Aktau, fellow party members and young activists also gathered at the building of the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan to honor the memory of the victims.
"Misfortune comes unexpectedly. We express our condolences to the people who lost their loved ones in this tragedy. In difficult times, we are with those who are grieving and provide all possible support. Today, our fellow party members not only honored the memory of the deceased, but also donated blood for the victims. We wish all the victims a speedy recovery," said the chairman of the Mangystau regional branch of the party, Nurbek Karasayev.
Earlier, near Aktau city, a plane crashed on the Baku-Grozny route. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Healthcare were mobilized to the scene. Also, by government decree, a government commission was created to investigate the causes of the plane crash. The commission is headed by Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev.
