Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet issued a warning for Almaty residents.
"Kazhydromet has issued a warning for Almaty residents regarding unfavorable meteorological conditions on March 6, 2025," the statement reads.
Unfavorable meteorological conditions refer to a combination of short-term weather factors (calm, light wind, fog, inversion) that contribute to the accumulation of harmful (polluting) substances in the lower atmospheric layer.
It is worth noting that on March 5, Kazhydromet had already warned Almaty residents about unfavorable weather conditions.
On March 6, Almaty is expected to experience partly cloudy weather with no precipitation. Fog is expected at times, with icy roads. The west wind will be 3-8 meters per second. Night temperatures will range from -2 to -4°C, while daytime temperatures will be between +8 and +10°C.
