Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Aysen Nikolayev, according to the press service of Akorda.
During the meeting with Aysen Nikolayev, who arrived in Astana to attend the opening ceremony of the 5th World Nomad Games, key areas for strengthening interregional interaction and expanding bilateral relations were discussed.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that the comprehensive development of cooperation between regions is an integral part of the strategic partnership and allied relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.
The head of state highlighted the significant potential for increasing cooperation with the Republic of Sakha in various sectors, including industry, trade, the IT sector, agriculture, and the extractive industry.

Aysen Nikolayev thanked for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of expanding contacts between Yakutia and Kazakhstan. He also noted his readiness to work together in priority sectors and expressed confidence in the further success of developing bilateral relations.
