The video
The music video was released just before the premiere of the second part of The Devil Wears Prada. The video is titled “Runway” — the name of the fictional fashion magazine where the main characters worked in the first film. The track was performed by Lady Gaga and Doechii. On YouTube, the video has been viewed more than two million times.
The Devil Wears Prada
The original 2006 film grossed about $326 million worldwide and earned Meryl Streep an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. The film told the story of aspiring journalist Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), who becomes an assistant to the legendary editor-in-chief of Runway magazine.
In the sequel, the main characters from the first film will return to their roles.
“Almost 20 years after their iconic roles, Miranda, Andy, Emily, and Nigel — played by Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci — are once again appearing on the fashionable streets of New York,” the project announcement said earlier.
The sequel follows Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), editor-in-chief of Runway magazine, as she tries to preserve her career amid the decline of print journalism.
According to the plot, she clashes with Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt) — her former junior assistant, who now holds a high-ranking position at a luxury company and controls the advertising budgets Priestly needs.
The premiere of the second part is set for April 30, 2026.
