Fog and icy roads: Weather forecast for Almaty from February 11 to 13

Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet has released the weather forecast for Almaty for the next three days, from February 11 to 13.

February 11:
Partly cloudy with no precipitation. Fog is expected at night and in the morning, with icy roads. Eastern winds at 2-7 m/s. Night temperatures will drop to -10 to -12°C, while daytime temperatures will range from 0 to +2°C.

February 12:
Partly cloudy with precipitation (mainly snow) in the afternoon. Fog and icy roads are expected. Eastern winds at 2-7 m/s. Night temperatures will be -8 to -10°C, while daytime temperatures will remain between 0 and +2°C.

February 13:
Partly cloudy with snow at night and mixed precipitation (rain and snow) during the day. Fog and icy roads will persist. Eastern winds at 2-7 m/s. Night temperatures will be -6 to -8°C, with daytime temperatures between 0 and +2°C.

Earlier, it was reported that a trough of a northern cyclone will influence the weather in northern Kazakhstan, bringing snow and blizzards. Meanwhile, southern regions will be affected by a southern cyclone, resulting in wet snow and rain with icy conditions during the daytime. Fog and increasing wind speeds are expected across the country.
