"Almaty production branch of JSC QazaqGaz Aimaq informs about the upcoming work on November 19, 2024 to connect the newly built supply gas pipeline to TPP-3," the statement says.
The gas shutdown will affect 4 449 subscribers of the Ili district living in the following settlements:
- Kokterek village;
- Baiserke village;
- Energetik consumer cooperative of garden associations;
- Proektirovshchik consumer cooperative of garden associations;
- Nadezhda consumer cooperative of garden associations.
To ensure safety, QazaqGaz Aimaq asks residents of the specified settlements to turn off the gas taps until the work is completed and not to open the taps until the end of the commissioning activities, which will be carried out by the company's specialists.
"JSC QazaqGaz Aimaq reports that these activities are being carried out as part of comprehensive work to convert TPP-3 to natural gas to improve the environmental situation in the metropolis.
We apologize for the temporary inconvenience and hope for understanding on the part of citizens. These works are aimed at ensuring the safe and stable operation of gas networks," the organization reported.
