Kazakhstan sold LUKOIL geological materials worth $3 million, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the president of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov as saying after signing several agreements with KazMunaiGas. “The company had bought geological materials that are now available to all our colleagues. The joint groups will analyze these materials, that’s why the first stage will mainly consist of office works. The investments will depend on the object to be jointly selected for investments. Speaking of the money is unreasonable right now, as there is no investment subject yet. The office works are in process and the package of geological materials costs $3 million and more,” Alekperov told the journalists. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that KazMunaiGas and LUKOIL signed the agreements on research of geological-geophysical data of unoccupied unlicensed areas, onshore and offshore, at the territory of Kazakhstan, as well as the agreement on cooperation in personnel management for research of technologies of production of aromatic hydrocarbons.
