Head of State emphasized that “to facilitate inflow of investments, it’s important to more fully use the country’s transit potential”. In this context, Berik Kamaliev, Minister of Transport and Communications, has to activate inter-regional and inter-state cooperation to develop transport corridors, facilitate competition in aviation sector, transform Khorgos International Centre of Transborder Cooperation and Aktau port into genuine free economic zones. President has instructed the Government to consider creation of an Atomic Energy Agency. He stressed that KazAtomProm or some separate agency could ensure technology-intensive development of the nuclear industry. “Currently Kazakhstan is the 1st in terms of uranium sales (…) We should take greater effort to develop the nuclear industry”, President Nazarbayev said. President also dwelt on education issues. He has instructed to introduce three-language education (Kazakh, Russian and English) starting from 2016.
